A message from me, Fred Longmore at NSDI…owner and V.P. of sales.

North Star is dedicated to serving the Non Profit companies here in Colorado as one of our “focused and dominant” target customer base groups. No one cares more or does better to keep your money in programs and people versus hardware and operational costs. Though we can help people and do good work though our efforts in copier and other image solutions sales, we are fully aware that we are limited in how we can altruistically effect and help those truly in need. Reaching out to you folks that are truly in the trenches side by side with individuals and groups less fortunate or just in need of support, is our ancillary way of doing more, and contributing in a tangible way.

We give far lower prices on products to our Non-Profit customers and on service and supplies as well. You get national buying power normally reserved for companies placing orders for 100+ copiers at a time, when you are just getting a few or even a single unit. We give greater trade in allowances for what you have, and can normally pay off an existing lease if you have one with no charge whatsoever to you, and we donate the first year of service and supplies up to 90k in copies. Though great prices and free services are important, the best part of our partnership with you our valued Non-Profit clients is that we don’t stop at the sale, or by just providing outstanding support and solutions constantly over the relationship. Our ownership and employees jump in and help with your cause, events, fund raisers, exposure, and so much more. We become a strategic member of your team and are looking for ways to leap way past just a copier company that sold you a product. I know this is a lot to read, and even believe. Senior Housing Option

Wow, you did so well in the show Fred…who knew you had acting skill and would be so funny.  I hope you had fun, and even though it was a small part that we offered to major contributors, you felt it worth the time/terror to perform.  Terri was a great taxi driver also, good work!  I wanted to let you know the results & reviews were way beyond expectations.  “Hot-L Baltimore” was a huge hit and the media called it the “Best and most thought provoking summer show we saw and liked in Denver Theater this year”. Very cool huh! And this from a non-profit with little to no budget, a tight 100 person seat venue, and as a fund raiser for those we serve. We surpassed all expectations and might have to do this again next year. Ugghh…a lot of work and 2 months of shows to put on, weekends to give up, but worth it.

As for the fund raiding results…from gold sponsors like you that so graciously donated the $5000, and from the ticket sales revenue, we came very close to our amazingly high goal, and we will be able to so much because of it in our efforts to house the needy and seniors in our 14 locations.  

You and NSDI have been there for us since 1995 Fred, with all the stuff you are supposed to do for our locations with the 12 copiers, network support, phone systems sales and service, and the like…that all has been great, especially the newest 520 model big boy unit; OMG what a gem.  However, that is not what I write to you today about…it is the over the top other stuff that has always  impressed me, like attending our events for big $$, being in the expensive golf tourneys to help out, and the major donations like this one from time to time.  You rock!  Tell Jim, Ed, Terri, and all the rest we are grateful, and I send my best to them.

In response to your question about the copiers at our locations…no problems to report, we love them all.  Thanks for all you help in the past, the years have flown by, and we have evolved and upgraded nicely system wise as you know. Your staff treats us very well, and the fact your company comes along side with assistance outside copiers and business ---like the golf tournament you arranged and sponsored for our fund raiser way back--- sure is the icing on the cake.  I believe North Star deserves an “A” on the report card.
